Notice to Voters The Santa Cruz County Recorder's Office is pleased to announce that voter identification cards have been mailed to all registered voters in Santa Cruz County on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. The mailings of these cards are being used as verification of the voter's name, address and party affiliation. If either has changed, you must re-regis- ter to make any changes. We also need to be notified if you no longer live in the county or if you have a family member that is deceased. If you receive a card for a voter who no longer resides at your address, you are asked to write a note that the person no longer lives there and place the card back in the mail. This information is very important in order to correct and maintain our voter registration records. Enclosed with the Voter ID Card is a form for request to be included on the "Permanent Early Voting List" (PEVL) in order to automatically receive an early ballot by mail, for all elections the voter is eligible to participate. If the box on the upper left hand corner is marked with an "X", the voter does not have to return the card because they are already on the PEVL. However, if the box is un-marked, and they wish to be on the PEVL, the voter must provide the necessary information and sign and return the card. If you have not registered to vote or did not receive your Voter ID Card or if you need to re-register to change your name, address or party affiliation, please contact the Santa Cruz County Recorder's Office located at 2150 N. Congress Drive, Suite 101, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm, or call (520) 375-7924 to request a voter registra- tion form. You may also register to vote online @ servicearizona.com. To register to vote you must be a United States Citizen, a resident of Arizona and Santa Cruz County and 18 years of age or more on or before the day of the next regular General Election and a resident of Santa Cruz County twenty-nine (29) days prior to an election.
