INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR Reserve Firefighter/EMT TUBAC SINCE 1974 Tubac Fire District is recruiting to hire reserve Firefighter/EMT's for part-time employment. Applicants must have EMT-B certification and State of Arizona FF III certified. Established in 1974 and operating out of four fire stations, the Tubac Fire District provides fire and emergency medical services, which include fire suppression & wildland firefighting, emergency medical response, rescue, fire prevention, public education and non-emergency services such as venomous creature removal. Hourly Rate: Reserve Firefighter/EMT S13.75hour Minimum Qualifications: 18 years old at time of application Valid Arizona driver's license High School graduate or GED State of Arizona Firefighter I and II or willing to complete a FF VI Academy National Registry EMT-B Must successfully complete a job-related physical and medical evaluation Must successfully pass a routine drug screen and background investigation Application Procedure: Interested applicants must submit the following: Completed TFD Employment Application Proof of all other minimum requirements Applications are available on the District website, Recruit FF Application, or at the District office, 2227 E. The selection process will consist of an oral interview and Fire Chief interview. The successful candidate shall be subject to a physical assessment test, pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, fingerprinting, professional and personal reference checks, and criminal and motor vehicle background reviews.
